Lyden said Great Learning Tool. I know nothing about Nascar, but both my son and I learned a lot about racing. The book is well written and easy to understand. It teaches about pit crews, trust, teamwork, and overcoming fear. I look forward to the next Racer Buddies book.. My 8 year old son still loves these books. My son loved the first book (bought when he was 5 or 6), which ends with a hint that there would be a sequel. He was ecstatic when I bought this for him, and even though he is almost 9 now, he reads it often.
