DESCRIPTION:
Incomplete FARs Wrongway78 I've served as a Navy air traffic controller for the past 8 years and have flown as a private pilot for the past 15, so I can assure you that I'm very familiar with the FAR/AIM. The AIM portion of the book was as I expected and useful enough. The problem lies with the second half of the publication, the FARs. It almost seems as though what was published were only the changes. Sections would be listed, but blank below. Other FARs started in the middle of the section.. Edward W Miller II said Terrible - Save Your Money. Some sections, such as the section on IFR rating requirements, have the content all jumbled up making it unusable. Some of the links from the table of contents don't work at all and just send you to a a blank white page. Very disappointing.. Do not buy!! This book is defective. Paragraphs are missing, sentences are out of order, words are missing, formatting is terrible. It is worse than useless; if you need this information, it has to be complete and correct. It is neither. I am no attorney, I am a pilot, but I think that this book amounts to fraud, and I plan to contact Amazon for a refund. It isn't just bad; it just plain isn't a useable book at all.
