The Page brothers are exceptional individuals in that they not only carry forward the spirit of aviation and the history of those whom build and fought for America but they contribute their time and resources to support Angel Flights for children suffering from disease.I enjoyed the family of short stories in Chasing Planes of which a few, especially in San Antoni. "You Can Hear The Jets Roaring And Props Spinning" according to Cliff. A thoroughly interesting read, "Chasing Planes" is full of experiences that will have the aviation aficionado nodding in agreement and understanding. Gordon Page has captured the essence of what it's like to be compelled to live the life of all things flight. Three chapters were my favorites: one about inspecting MiGs in a Soviet hangar, a second detailing a flight in a B-29 Superfortress and the third about how a small yellow bi-plane led to a culminating event four decades later. Some stories funny, others adrenaline-inducing, the author has fun recounting experiences that aviation fans will . I really enjoyed the book and recommend it to anyone that likes avation!
