DESCRIPTION:

Pretty good I enjoyed this. Not something I usually read but it was recommended because of Patricia Cornwell. Some parts are heartbreaking though.. Louisiana's Dead Great book! I can feel the passion he has for what he does, through his words. I definitely recommend this book!. "Gripping Insight" according to K. Edgin. This was an excellent forensic case book. Not only do you get excellent cases but you also get the author's down to earth personality, concern for life and true emotions. If you enjoy forensic novels and case books - This is a definite must read!!

During Hurricane Katrina, Dr. Cataldie's maverick ways have made him a favorite target of the media, but he offers no apologies, and speaks for those who cannot speak for themselves. A little town with big-city problems, Baton Rouge means "Red Stick"-and lives up to its bloody name. As chief coroner of Baton Rouge, tending to the dead is Cataldie's job
