Great Read This is a must for any aviation enthusiasts. Kingsford Smith is very well painted by FitzSimons and his fictional recreations rendered as dialogue and various scenes are colorful, digestible and believable. I suspect FitzSimons has researched the hell out of his subject lending the book a strong odour of authenticity. I really loved this story. With a childhood fascination with aviation (I grew up near Mascot Airport, Sydney) a. Great Book Jimbob Peter FitzSimonds has written a corker here. As with all of his books the story or subject flows very well. FitzSimonds ability to draw you in on the great subject of "Smithy" and all of those magnificent men provided a highly entertaining and informative read. What a fantastic chapter in Australia's history.I loved this book and would highly recommend it to anyone that would listen.
