DESCRIPTION:
Tia said Great 50's inspiration. This book is small and compact, but is still very effective at inspiring. The collection of about 60 or so patterns from the 1950s summarize the excitement brought on by the modern movement Each page is covered with one full pattern and the book provides a cd of thesealways a win! A great book to add to the collection.. Fabulous This book is a great resource for patterns and designs of the mid-century. It is rather smallin size physically and page wise, but the cd could enhance ones enjoyment (haven't used it yet myself).Really enjoying the imageswould recommend to others who love pattern, design, fabric, colors.. "Great snapshot of 1950s fabric patterns" according to Douglas R.. While a small book, it is just patterns from the 50s. Some wallpaper but mostly fabric. A great view of the decade. The V&A Pattern series never disappoints. Not much text, just images. If you are expecting a lot of text and history of each piece, this isn't the book to get.The CD does have all the images in it.
