"An Overview of the models" according to Jack Bert. From 1909 to 1997 an overview of Rolls Royce and Bentley. Many high quality color pictures. Not a buys guide or owners guide but a lover's guide if there is such a thing. The pictures make the book worth owning.A few specs imbedded in the text but no appendix of specifications. Does have an index. Mine published in 1999.. Well worth the money FS Buy this book just for the lovely illustrations, even if you already have other Rolls-Royce books (as I have). After buying a few Rolls-Royce books you begin to see the same cars cropping up again and again. Certainly there are some important cars (AX201, OLG 1, etc) that must be covered as well as the usual official press release and marketing shots which are often included. However this book has some lovely shots I have not s. 1/2 of RR History practically ignored. I was extremely disappointed in this book. The photographs are beautiful and the early years are somewhat decently represented, but once the history hits the 1950s, the photos tank. The author obviously loved the Corniche convertible while almost entirely ignoring the Silver Shadow. No Rolls sedans from the 80s are shown, only the ugly coupe.I browsed through it a couple times, and stuck it on my shelf.
