For me, this book proved a foundation laying text while workig on my thesis about plane stress fracture toughness testing of polymer films. Authors' style is simple, clear and easily understandable --which is hard to find in the books dealing with fracture mechanics.. A Customer said Excellent, easy to read!. This is an excellent text suitable for all students in fracture mechanics. The authors are great teachers in the field.
