"Purchased to mother but she didn't like it. Well documented but redaction is weak" according to Maria Henriquez. Book somehow boring. Should be on several book lists I read this book when it came out and am planning on getting another copy and reading it again. This book is very detailed without being verbose; it is just like watching a movie. Timerman was one of my first introductions to Argentina and I have been fascinated ever since. Within the book the reader will find a fascinating look at political repression and its consequences. The Spanish edition is great for students with easy to read prose.
