The thing with anthologies, is sometimes there are a few stories that are taken from previously published anthologies. The only two I found in this was "Reunion at St. Mary's" and "Run Jo Run". That still leave 15 stories I hadn't seen previously. Some of these stories has a few surprises and I really did enjoy most of them I gave it 4 stars because of the two repeats and the 2 stories that left me kind of flat. I loved the depth and intelligence in this body of work. Each story had its own intriguing personality, rich in colorful language and an around-the-world experience in culture variety. The best of the bunch, in my humble opinion, was The Big Lesbo Cupcakery by D.L. King. Who knew a simple story about a woman watching over a shelf of cupcakes could be so delicious?
