I made copies of all the "back page" designs, so i can color with markers/gel pens. As for the designs - some of them have lines that are not connecting with each other, leaving open spaces where the colors could end. For some r. "relaxing way to spend the day" according to Blanche Sarong. I ordered this book for my 25 year old daughter. She & I both spent time coloring in the designs. It was very relaxing. Her pictures looked so different than mine, but we both used colored pencils. The designs were intricate, & gave you lots of different ways to go in deciding how your finished design would turn out.. Awful coloring book! Elizabeth Smith-Hammontree I bought this along with several other Dover Coloring Books, but this one was instantly my least favorite. I love complicated pictures that take a long time to complete, but this book was ridiculous. The patterns are way too busy, and none of them are particularly pretty. I thought it might just be me, so I passed my new coloring books around to my friends. Everyone had complaints about this one.
