Quick, enjoyable read Sage320 Being a nice person only gets you pain, or so it seems to Veterinarian Tory Greyson.Tory is nice to everyone, sometimes too nice, and she usually ends up getting hurt. She's watched her best friend steal every girlfriend she's had, including the one Tory thought she might really love. Even when she does pro bono work for people who can't afford care for their horses, she ends up getting shot by a demented old woman who thinks Tory is a hors. "horses, very appealing and well-developed butch vet, & sexy sex" according to kindle reader. This is the author's second novel and is the sequel to Bareback. In Bareback we're introduced to a community in Cherokee Falls, Virginia where horses have a starring role and one hot, womanizing butch horse trainer (Skyler) falls for her femme rider (Jessica). On the sidelines was the trainer's best friend and community horse vet Tory Greyson who didn't get the girl and didn't leave much of an impression.Not so in this sequel. In this story. Rox said Horses are not my thing, it was ok.. The writing was pretty good, horses don’t really appeal to me, but this author knows her stuff regarding horses and writes about them well. This is a common thread in all her books. The characters were somewhat developed and I enjoyed their energy, they weren’t boring that’s for sure. I laughed a good amount of times, the banter between Tory and Leah was entertaining.The Leah character was a bit too feisty and wishy washy
