Well told story Mike Packard I have not read anything from this author in years. This well written story is a welcome return to a familiar series. It was a great change for me from the recent poorly written book's I have been getting from Amazon lately. Several I did not write reviews for or even finish reading. This book represents a return to a great city, well described with colorful characters. I recommend this book completely. Mr. Herren is a very good writer, and this book deserves a read.. Five Stars CARGUYMO Another awesome Greg Herren book. He never disappoints!. Crescent City lives on! After a three year hiatus, Greg Herren has given us the seventh Scotty Bradley mystery. For those of us that love New Orleans and the characters that live there--from Garden District/Uptown high society to the refreshing personalities of the French Quarter--this series is always an enjoyable read. I wish that Scotty's husbands, Colin and Frank, were more involved in the plot as they were in previous books. But, it's nice to know that Scotty's hippie parents are still upstairs over the Devil's Weed and sister, Rain, is upholding the elite standards of the Diderot
