CATIA Core Tools: Computer Aided Three-Dimensional Interactive Application J P Villforth As a new user of CATIA I have been looking for a book that wasn't just a bunch of tutorials. I wanted a book that told me how to use the program and the basis for the commands and command structure. It turns out that this is the book. Based upon my experience you can use this book to learn how to draw without all of the tutorials that are out there in so many other books. In addition, this book includes a history of the development of the software giving a much better view of the markets it serves and can serve. Some of the more advanced applications, such as manufacturing design, are not covered in. "Good reference for necessary functions in CATIA" according to Melchizedek. As the title indicates, this book explains most frequently used functions and interface in CATIA. If you are using CATIA and need an immediate reference book, this book may be a good place for look-up.Sadly, book does not provide any tutorial or practice, which was my original intention of purchase. However, in a long run, this book may be more valuable than any other CATIA practice book out there..
