It is officially an antique! "Hmm," thinks Arnold. Dripping with sarcasm, each letter will remind you that while you still have your sense of humor, jokes about aging seem to ring a little truer than they used to!For example:A is for Antique.Arnold sees his favorite childhood toy, the Atomic Astro-Rocket, on Antiques Roadshow. This hilarious board book has a fun, retro look and makes a unique gift for grown-ups who don't necessarily want to grow up. Remember when A was for apple? Well, now (sigh) A is for aging. The A, B, Cs of adulthood differ ever so slightly from the popular grade school primers of the past inside Ross and Kathryn Petras's B Is for Botox: An Alphabet Book for the Middle-Aged. "Does this mean that now that I'm middle-aged, I'm officially an antique?" HmmWhat do you think?

Great for a good laugh Amazonian I reviewed this book in person at the local bookstore, and it is great for a lot of laughs if you are in the 40-50 age group. In this world you need a light laugh once in a while, and this book delivers just that. Men or women would benefit from it.. Too Fun!! Erika in HB I actually received this as a b-day gift and loved it so much I bought some to give to other friends. Very funny, tongue in cheek though I would suggest it may not be appropriate for someone with no sense of humor or is overtly not thrilled about getting older. Everyone else on the other hand will get a good laugh out of it!. very funny and very true ! almost every page on this book fit my age group of very funny and very true ! Rhonda Slagter almost every page on this book fit my age group of 45 and above and was cleaver and witty. Want to buy more for "over the hill" type birthday gifts.. 5 and above and was cleaver and witty. Want to buy more for "over the hill" type birthday gifts.
