The volume Yabu Pushelberg features lavish photography of projects that include the Four Seasons Tokyo, Bergdorf Goodman, The Hazelton Hotel, Tiffany & Co., Lane Crawford and Louis Vuitton.Yabu Pushelberg features six essays by William Norwich, columnist and contributing editor to Vogue.. Yabu Pushelberg, an interiors firm with offices in New York and Toronto, has been named to Interior Design magazine's Hall of Fame for its luxurious retail, hospitality and residential projects
Disappointment Tedley Yabu Pushelberg is an exciting interior design firm that pushes the edge in most of their work. Unfortunately, that attitude isn't reflected in this book. If you are looking for a conglomeration of oversized photos presented in a rather unsophisticated manner, than buy this book. If you are looking for any drawings, project explanations or design discussions or writings, you will have to just read the numerous publications that YB has appeared in.. Great book NYLA Beautiful, big images that show lots of great details. I've been to several of the spaces featured in this book and the photography really captures them. The attention to detail makes this a wonderful reference book for anyone in the design world and William Norwich's text is a fun read for anyone who enjoys his writing in Vogue.. "Yabu Pushelberg" according to Wade Delong. Was excited to get the book, it arrived early too. I opened the box to find the book poorly packaged and a large dent in the corner. Would of liked to had the chance to send it back, but needed it for a gift. I would suggest that you buy your coffee table books in a store, so you can look at them first.
And through six witty essays written by William Norwich, contributing Vogue editor, the firm’s style and process are analyzed.-- Hospitality DesignWith 220 glossy pages Yabu Pushelberg's self-titled book should definitely be top-of-list for the design cogniscenti this season. The Canadian design studio, helmed by George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg, snapped (top) at their recent book signing at Bergdorf Goodman in NYC, certainly hasn't rested on its laurels. The book’s colorful photography of more than 30 of the firm’s hospitality, residential, and retail spaces is inspirational, filled with detailed shots of everything from main dining rooms to lobbies.
