Hauser's novel Unnecessary Roughness was published just as the President of the United State was to sign the Matthew Shepard & James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act, amending the current law on hate crimes to include violence based on gender, sex. "Almost loved it" according to Admete. Connor and Kyle were to totaly hot jocks that rocked my world. They were fast friends who discovered they were so much more and stuck with eachother through some pretty rough times.There were parts of this book that made me feel like calling each man and G.A Hauser an idiot because Con. Charles A. Lane said OK until the end. I had no trouble staying with this book even though the clues the two attractive heroes gave each other about their sexuality were unmistakable. So the suspense continued through most of the book because at the very last moment one of them always backed off. Connor's father is a mean j
