Some of the names of the techniques are different than what the instructor learned and there are so many names given to every variation that it is sometimes difficult to remember the subtle differences in technique which go with each one. Good Explanation of Tui Na Message This manuel is well written and explains the various techniques and their uses nicely. I bought it because our Tui Na instructor had it as the required text for her class. Some of the names of the techniques are different than what the instructor learned and there are so many names given to every variation that it is sometimes difficult to remember the subtle differences in technique which go with each one. It's nice to have proper names . "Love this book" according to Cole Abplanalp. I am a huge fan of Tui Na massage and this book is the most detailed one I have found thus far. It might help to know where the different qi points are and to have an understanding of the different channels. I feel this book has increased my skills greatly over the 2 years I have had it.. Lorraine Lott said Tui na A Manual of Chinese Massage Therapy. The book itself is really good. The problem is the DVD. I could not get it to work at all, neither using computer nor using DVD player.They should just sell the book without the DVD as it is unusable which would bring the cost of the book down. A little disappointed withthis.
