A look into the life of a Tampa Bay philanthopist and former Chariman of the U.S Chamber of Commerce. Michael Great book. I have read many books on business and the lives of their subjects, this one is a great combination of a biography and a way to pass on some of the knowledge he has picked up along the way. Coming from the Tampa Bay area it was great to read about a leader in the community. It was interesting to read about his farm upbringing, tour in the military, and the efforts he made in bringing baseball to the bay area, as well as the price he had to pay for it. It is well written, I was able to go through it in 2 days, never bored with it.. A great story of life and what you make of it. Lumber guy Great book. It should be a required reading book in every high school. What a rags to riches story and what a nice and generous couple.
