Great for a beginner! Fantastic info!! Great little read, I already knew wuite a bit but gir someone new to this amazing little plant it is perfect!!!. Another "cure all" book with no citations. Amazon Customer My Dad used Witch Hazel for most of his life and I have, off and on, incorporated it into my life, so I am familiar with some of its uses. This book, however, takes using it to new extremes. I worry about books like this which tout the mystical and magical powers found in the latest "cure all" and then suggest a myriad of uses while providing nothing to back them up.The book is fairly well written but contains errors and omissions which editing should have caught.This book is an interesting read, but for meI'll do tons more research AND speak with my doctor before. Noreen Kellner said Not what I expected.. It does have some good information regarding what Witch Hazel is and what it can do. I have purchased witch hazel and used it in the past. It is easy to find and inexpensive. This "Ultimate Guide" explains how to make your own witch hazel from the plant. Not something I am interested in doing. Then gives a great recipe for witch hazel tea starting with the plant rather than giving instructions if you are purchasing the witch hazel. This made it pretty much useless for me.
