He did a lot more than I did with my career but as with all good cops it cost t him a lot in his private life. Back when he came on the job it had to be a calling, not just a job. Being a cop back then was your whole life. You could help folks and get the bad guys. Lawrence Rupp did a re. This Is A Winner! diana kennedy I highly recommend The Duck Theory. This comment is coming from someone not totally aware of what these men actually did. Now, I understand much more and respect anyone who chooses this as a career. There is plenty of information in this book for all of us to learn.The Duck Theory is insightful into Larry's careers, first as a Compton Policeman, L.A. County Sheriff then on the Swat Tean and eventually as an instructor at the L.A. Sheriff's Academy.
