Five Stars Great book. "Really helpful" according to Amazon Customer. It was extraordinarily beneficial to read this before I decided to take on a sponsee. Its not a textbook of "how to be" a sponsor. Rather it paints a diverse picture of the fellowship's collective experience of sponsorship and the different meanings of the relationship. I feel like I can be both an adequate sponsor, and a better sponsee.. Amazon Customer said A very useful guide. Since there are no hard and fast rules to sponsorship, no list of "these are the 10 things a sponsor and/or a sponsee must do", I found this book very helpful in my journey to find a good sponsor.It doesn't lay out what a sponsor is or does, instead it is a complication of experiences that fellow members of the fellowship have had with their sponsors. Through this book, I learned that sponsorship is personal, and the sponsor/sponsee relationship can vary greatly depending on the needs or gifts each brings to the table.It was so helpful with my frustration in finding a new sponsor.
