D.B. said Best of Horde series. I love, love Sherri L. King's writing and this is the best of the Horde series. Lightning is the male character in this novel and is powerful, enigmatic and pretty delicious. King's explicit scenes are well-written as is the action in this book. For me, this is my favorite in this series because of those things and I really care about both the main characters and their connection. King is on my short-list of must read authors which also i. The story follows Pulse, first met in Caress the Fla, and his quest to see if humans are worth fighting for. A nice addition to the series.
