DESCRIPTION:
Arguably the Mazda MX-5 was single-handedly responsible for the revival of the sports car market, sparking off a new era of convertible fun, and examples of this popular roadster are now plentiful and affordable on the second-hand market. This practical guide provides expert advice on how to breath new life into a used and perhaps tired example of this modern-day classic. From preventative maintenance, to the renewal of worn components and details of known problems and how to fix them, the clearly written, comprehensively illustrated text provides all the information required to enjoy an MX-5 on a budget.

Buy to add to other books on the subject Philip L. Elliott This is generally a great book with nice colour pictures printed on quality paper. It is very useful in many areas but is not exhaustive, with coverage of some areas being scant or non-existent. Worth the money as long as you have other references to complete the picture. Buy the Veloce workshop manual as well in preference to Haynes' own.. Focuses on NA, right-handed models CoolBean Nice hardcover book with color pictures! There's a great section on replacing the hood (that's the soft top for us USA folks).I will post more after I finish reading it, but I wanted to let folks know two things since there are no reviews yet for this:1. The book was written for the Miataphiles in the UK apparently. Along with all of the UK terminology, (Bonnet, boot, etc) all of the pictures feature right hand drive models and there. not worth it. if you have any kind of basic knowlage of how cars work and how to work on them then this book is going to be to basic for you. the performance section in this book is maybe four pages long and tell you to go online and research what parts others are putting on their cars. there are a few useful pieces of information in this book but this information is available online for free,
