ocean side said excellent survey of interior lighting. Excellent survey of historic lighting, just as the title promises. Hundreds of illustration make it a joy to peruse, and learn about the technological and decorative evolution of lighting, up to the Art Nouveau period. Focused on the decorative aspect rather than technology, as for most of the covered period electricity wasn't yet used.. "This was a disappointment as it does not give good information on lighting" according to Kevin Stone. This was a disappointment as it does not give good information on lighting.
