DESCRIPTION:

Great Info, Poor Print Todd J. Elliott I think this is an extraordinary book of James Potter photographs. However, the print quality of off-shore (China) printing is evident and unfortunate. I have bleeds of ink coming from one side of the page into the other. So, beautiful color photos are marred from a black and white image on a following page. As for the content, excellent which is why I give this four stars. MBI publishing should do more to ensure better print quality and may have to observe the process more close. "Amazing photos and informative text" according to C. Williams. Amazing photos and informative text. A must have for those who love street customs of the '50 and early '60's.. Kustomland Kindle Customer Thom Taylor is a master at this type of book. The photos are excellent examples of James Potters work. The text is well written and interesting. This is a great book for lovers of early custom cars.

In the late 1950s, as designers from the Big Three became more daring, their do-it-yourself counterparts in the custom-car world found that the new designs from Detroit worked exceptionally well with custom treatments like shaving, lowering, “lakes pipes,” and the ever-wilder custom painting of the day—aesthetics that would come
