If found the book very interesting because it focuses a lot on what the author has felt and feels.It does not linger too much on feminism or other topics that may dominate other books on the same subject.. Not worth the read - sorry Christi groupworker I really appreciate this subject and have read several outstanding ( 4 or 5 star) memoirs about the transgender experience. Unfortunately, this book was not in that category. "Similar shoes" according to Koree. I wear similar shoes. I too have been on a similar journey and appreciate the words Christi put to paperit is empowering.
