She, through extensive research, in depth interviews, and personal experience with Thompson himself, is able to show just how odd this man's life is. A fresh way of writing a biography. The other two books that came out about him at the same time pale in comparison.. "Best HST bio there is" according to Joe Porletto. Hunter S. Thompson has been my favorite author since I was a teen, and once I read through all of his works I needed more. I started checking out the various biographies written about the famous "Gonzo" journalist, but found a lot of them lacking in real detail.
