"Very Disappointing" according to Kyle Howard. After reading the three, five star reviews, I purchased this book to assist me in installing a new security systems in my home & business.I haven't ordered many digital books, but thought I'd give the new format, and this author, a chance.Unfortunately, this book is actually more like a pamphlet. Most chapters consist of very general information in the form of a couple of short paragraphs. There are no diagrams, layouts or illustrations---all of which you would e. High Level Overview of Factors, but Not Technical Not very informative about the technicalities, but more general in nature. Most of the information is relatively high level, not containing the detail that one would look for if going to buy and install a system.. "obviously written years ago by someone who doesn't have a full command of the English language" according to Amazon Customer. Technology and terms is all dated. This book is no good. Security cameras have come a long way since this book was published~!
