DESCRIPTION:

"You will have to out line the author thesis and topic senten" according to Abdulrahman Aljabri. I didn't know what to expect from this book when I first bought it, considering the title is handling a very broad topic. As I expected, this book is not aimed towards the amateur. The book lacks basic information for people who knows very little about chemistry. In addition, the book lacks any objectives, reading the book feels like having a live discussion with Mr. Hartman, which means you will forget most of what you have just read. Another problem the amateur will face is the highly technical discussion of various combustion aspects. On the other hand, the book is nice to read for the professional, as it touch. Pretty Decent Primer on Fuels. David Proffitt If you want to really understand fuels better this book is a great primer. The author however needs to back off some of his technical babble and explain some of his statements better. He assumes knowledge on the part of the average reader that really isn't there. Almost egotistical at times. Still it's a good book but is it worth the money? Well that depends on how badly you want to understand gasoline, diesel, alcohols, nitromethane, propane etc. I liked the book and have read it thru several times.
