About the Author Diana K. Myers is an independent scholar and curator, and has been studying Himalayan textiles since the 1970s. She is an international development expert with a degree from Princeton University, and has supported the Textile Museum in Thimphu, Bhutan, as special advisor to Her Majesty the Queen of Bhutan since the museum's inception in 1999.
Examples come from the Peabody Essex Museum, which holds the largest such collection of any North American museum, and public and private collections in Bhutan, the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
