Amazon Customer said Paperback reissue. This is the paperback reissue of a hard cover 'glossary' dictionary. A great complimentary work to assist with sifting through the large number of Chinese medical terms covered in 'A Practical Dictionary of Chinese Medicine' by the same author. I say "glossary" because this work doesn't really provide in depth definitions of Chinese medical terms. 'A Practical Dictionary of Chinese Medicine' provides much more detailed definitio. John b said Great resource. This is a very thorough chinese medicine terminology dictionary. It is complete with English, pinyin, and traditional characters. To move beyond the current level of practice we must have a thorough understanding of Chinese language. This dictionary is a great way to begin this process by becoming familiar with common terms in Chinese medicine.
