DESCRIPTION:
Amid all his absorbing interests and masterful activities in other fields, his interest and his authority in practical natural history are by no means the least.. But there is one phase of the President's many-sided character upon which I should like to lay especial emphasis, namely, his natural history bent and knowledge. Good insight to president Roosevelt's love and knowledge of nature Jere A. Houser Very interesting reading. Good insight to president Roosevelt's love and knowledge of nature.. The Invisible Pam said Tales of Teddy. At first I didn't think I would enjoy this book. The author started off in a fashion that reminded me of the lauding praise of medieval authors writing about their saints. But eventually Mr. Burroughs snagged me. His descriptions of the train tour out to Yellow Stone, and the humor with which he greeted his side of the adventure was endearing. It was obvious that he loved Teddy and the discovery of creatures he had had never seen before. What surprised me more was Roosevelt's love o. Very interesting introspective of President Teddy Roosevelt Dennis Horwitz This is a very interesting narrative of the authors travels with President Teddy Roosevelt to Yellowstone NP. He provides an interesting introspective of Roosevelt, his passion and respect for the citizenry, his motivations and love/respect for the outdoors.
