The Best Basis for Building Your Skills KSMephisto I'm a fashion design student and this is the book I learned pattern making from. Even without my teachers, including Injoo herself, this book is easily understood with clear directions and helpful diagrams.That being said, I have since read several books on the subjec. Not what I expected I went back and forth on this one. Bought it to learn how to make a Flat Pattern. Half of this book is on construction of each basic pattern (blouse, skirt, pants etc) with minimal variations. Lots of large drawings, very little text. Not for the person who already kn. "Awesome-few typos" according to fashion student. The book is really a great tool to begin learning how to pattern make. The diagrams are very visual and easy to understand once you get going.
