Good information An Old Hippie Chick Excellent resource for patients new to Suboxone and friends and family of addicts using this new drug. It's very frustrating trying to explain to those unfamiliar with MAT, (medication-assisted treatment) which is almost everyone, including doctors, who are unfamiliar with it. I've been on it for several years, and due to chronic medical conditions, will probably be on it th. pat hughes said Finally put it all together.. This should be required reading for any physician who is treating or may come in contact with a suboxone patient. As a labor and delivery nurse who takes Suboxone I cannot tell you the number of times I've seen patients on this therapy whose physicians have not even heard of Suboxone - and I am their introduction to the information! It gives hope to those struggling, and provides clarification about how suboxone helps people get their lives back.
