But first I will give the reader a general overview of the writing both in style and substance. Typically, Foucault is someone who seems very amauzed by his own cleverness. He is a writer who can never refuse teh chance to write a pun, a major one is that we are "subjects" and "subjected" how cute and clever. This all leads to his denial of subjectivity, autonomy or agency (whichever term you prefer). This is because he wants to show the reader how "power" (as he terms, the complex strategical situation in a soc
