Still after all these years an important well written book jon p buschke Still after all these years an important well written book on Wright's long carrier with information about his Usonian houses.. Excellent historical look at Frank Lloyd Wright's Design Elements Nice overview of FLW's design elements and how they evolved over time what his influences were and how they were applied. This gives a broad overview of the many design elements that FLW employed and not just his light screens. A nice book with plenty of illustration of the designs being discussed. As a huge fan of his stained glass, 'light screens', this was a welcome addition to my already large library of books on FLW's body of work. This book highlighted other aspects of FLW design which I was familiar with but appreciated the discussion non. "Must" reading for all Frank Lloyd Wright fans and students. This presentation was the first to focus on Wright's decorative art, rather than his usual architectural achievements, and was originally published as a catalog to accompany a major exhibition. Over 200 drawings and photos provide a fine survey of Wright's decorative designs, while chapters discuss his work in various mediums. Recommended for collection which already have books on Wright's architectural works, but who seek a well-rounded portrait of the artist.
