The Bill Pen Name It seemed I was reading a novel and not a biography. I was hoping for a behind the scenes drama of the British and Western Australian police force. What I got seemed to be a disgruntled, whining Pom with a hip on his shoulder.. Mostly a work of fiction. Having personally worked with the author I have first hand knowledge of him and some of stories in this book.Even when still in uniform early in his career the authour had the well earned reputation as someone that would be able to fabricate or exaggerate details to spin a good yarn. This is basically what has happened here, consider it a work of fiction based on real events. The seedy underbelly of corruption. Thank you Kate An interesting insight into the world of policing to a new recruit. A valuable message to care for my mental health throughout my career.
