I have always loved this writer's seamless writing but I have no idea she is in fact such a versatile writer with such rich imagination. There are so many aspects to Song of Oestend. Supernatural, fantasy, drama, romance, erotica, a dash of mystery, this one keeps me glued till the very end and I am saying till early morning!There are so many layers to the plot which takes place in an alternative world and era. A world where wraiths are not imagined but part of every day life and deadly. An era which is pretty primitive by comparison to the current high te. She knocked this one out of the park C Green Oh my! I love Marie Sexton's books and bought this one on the strength of her previous works. As usual her characters have depth but this book has some new characters compared to her other books. We watch the main character discover his own strengths when he thought he was weak and the heroic character find way to let go of his rigidity.
