Three Stars I am more interested in pre 1950,than Conrail glory days.. "Very good book for anyone interested in Northwest Pa railroading." according to Keith L. Johnson. Like all the books in this series there is a collection of adequately reproduced black-and-white photos covering the indicated topic. In this particular book like other books in this series by Springirth the pictures tend to have more contrast than desired. This volume, however, is much better in this regard than the author's volume on the Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad, which is notoriously bad. Now as far as coverage goes it is quite.
