Her true anchors, MeMaw and Sam, are gone. Slowly, she finds the strength to reach out to new people in her life and new experiences which further test her vision of who she really is. As she grows to accept both challenge and change, she breaks free of her prior commitments to fiancé and family. It's a bittersweet victory, however, as her brave choices and self-knowledge bring her no closer to her estranged lover, Sam. She does. "If I could give this book series more than five stars I would!" according to Kristen Carey. If I could give this book series more than five stars I would! I especially liked the second book. The character development had me engrossed and I couldn’t put it down. It Pours picks up right where the first book left off with Rayne. The journey that Rayne goes on in the second book is exactly what this character needed in my opinion. I think the key to starting this book, is to remember that the series is four books long.
