About the Author Mary Jane Treacy is Professor of Modern Languages and Literatures and Director of the Honors Program at Simmons College, where she teaches first-year Honors seminars as well as Spanish and Latin American Studies. She has just completed a prequel, Paterson 1913: The Silk Strike, and a new game on the aftermath of political violence in Argentina, Argentina 1985: Contested Memories. She has taught Greenwich Village in both Women’s and Gender Studies courses and first-year seminars.
