Bauhaus Intro to Design This book introduces the student to design using a theory of design developed by the Bauhaus school in the early 20th century, and conceiving of design as both a product and a process. The Bauhaus school sought to develop a theory of aesthetics appropriate for the modern age. The general approach is then used to apply to fashion design in particular, illustrating how Bauhaus principles can apply to fashion.Organization is subdivided into. L. The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous and clarify the discussion of design elements and principles. Anyone progressing through this book cannot help but develop a more artistic eye, honing his or her own design abilities.
