"Great resource; silly pagination" according to jamie. Just arrived today and I'm impressed with the wealth of material in here -- I don't believe there is a better alternative. However, I was also immediately struck by their silly and annoying pagination: for instance, Section 11.6 regards Quartz Crystal Filters; however, they've chosen to also label pages by chapter and page # in the style of [Chapter].[Page]. So it turns out that PAGE 11.6 discusses high-pass filters while SECTION 11.6 begins on PAGE 11.Great resource; silly pagination Just arrived today and I'm impressed with the wealth of material in here -- I don't believe there is a better alternative. In the 89th . Michael Gasperi said Best bang for your handbook buck. For the price, you can't find a better handbook for electrical design. Naturally the subject matter is more focused to radio related subjects, but still very general. My only gripe is that the pages are printed too close to the center and it is hard to read the innermost text without practically destroying the binding.. Great reference book on RF and electronics This book is a great resource for all things related to ham radio, RF, and electronics. Nothing is covered in too much depth, but a book of this size couldn't. Instead it touches on all subjects in enough detail to be informative while trying to minimize the math. It includes a CD with software to help design filters and predict antenna performance. Just buy it! You won't regret it.
