It is too bad to see useful information such as this wasted due to a poor approach to the writing. If the work was rewritten with more emphasis on actually getting the information accross to the reader it has the potential to be among the great alignment books.. "Millwrights Guide to Motor Pump Alignment" according to Russell G. Faison. Over all there is a lot of good information in this book. It has formulas to calculate the amout of movement needed to bring the equipment into proper alignment in the shortest manor than just guessing the moves. One thing that make it a little confusing is that a majority of the diagrams are labled as Fig 1( until you get used to reading his style).
