Sometimes you don't want (or need) to read entire chapters on this or thatthis book fits the bill. I would recommend it for that. It is ,however, a very good source of ideas. It really does have 1001 tips. Some are very extravagent, and some are simple adjustments. But it is just a starting point. I find myself reading it of an evening just for ideas; and yes, there are 1001. Entertaining, and produces results in my engine.
